Standards of Learning State Assessments will be administered from May 16 – June 14, 2016.
Throughout this SOL testing time, no volunteers will be permitted to work in classrooms or other areas during the course of the testing day.
Parents may have lunch in the cafeteria with their students and may still escort students to class between 9:05-9:35. Parents must exit the building by 9:35.
How can parents help??
~ Schedule doctor’s appointments around your child’s testing schedule. If a student has to leave in the middle of a test, he or she will have to submit the test and the VDOE will score their assessment based on what the student has completed.
~ Students should be in attendance regularly and on time.
~ Make sure that your child gets a good night’s sleep and has a healthy breakfast at school or home.
We know they will do well! Please encourage students each morning!
